STONE ISLAND - THERMOCHROMIC

The Stone Island Prototype Research Series was presented through an artistic and thermosensitive installation, during Milan Design week 2023. The jackets feature garments in fabrics born from research and experimentation processes that have not yet been industrialised. Series 07 unveils a special thermochromic technology. The nylon canvas fabric, coated with a reactive crystals ink, reveals a vast spectrum of chromatic points, shown by the installation itself. The thermic process was also shot and played by a video projection of macro liquid crystals reacting. The presentation was opened by a dj set event performed by C2C.
